A few months ago, I was trying to download some videos from MySpace using
Unplug, a
Firefox Add-on, but somehow it didn’t work with that Site (but does well with YouTube and Metacafe).
Zamzar, for instance, says that it can convert MySpace videos, well, each time I tried a friendly message appears to tell me that the file I’m trying to get is not supported.
Video Downloader did download a file, but threw an error message when trying to convert them. I kept trying with several more programs but none of them was able to get the file. But hard work pays off, and I found a tutorial video on Metacafe that gives detailed instructions on how to download the videos from MySpace, and it worked just fine!!.
In a few words, you just have to make a small change to the video ur, redirecting it to Voobys, that is an online file converter site, after being redirected, you just have to click on the download button and get the file.
After you get the flv file you can convert it to almost any other video format with any file converter, I personally use Replay Converter. If you want to run the file directly, you need a flash player.
Here is the video tutorial.
I am dead sure that you won’t feel dissapointed with this post, because it actually works!!!.
