If you are tired of entering a website you don’t yet know just to realize seconds after that it was a complete waste of time and that its title was misleading, then you must try out this add-on for Firefox.
Any page hiperlink becomes visible with
Cooliris Preview, not only those in search engine results. So if you find yourself navigating a huge portal and don’t want to open multiple tabs to see what’s on the other side, then this extension allows you to do it by opening a frame (you can customize its size). If you like what you see, you can also
send it by e-mail to your friends with only one click. You can also do
contextual searches with a right click on the desired word or phrase. One last interesting feature and very useful when you are comparing products in different sites, or similar articles for a report is called stacking, so you don’t have to load dozens of pages in a single browser or bookmarking them.
To use it just
download Cooliris Preview firefox extension and install it. Then mouse over any hiperlink and a blue icon will appear right next to the end of the link, position your mouse over the icon and the frame will load, faster than opening the entire page. Though the icon takes a second to appear, sometimes you don’t want to see it for a while, if this is the case, disable it clicking on the mark that appears at the bottom of the browser.
Here are two video tutorials from the guys who made it.
